I use a simple method. I add a close up filter to my 24mm F/2.8 lens and i managed to get quite a nice bokeh for my preference.

I have just acquired a new S5 Pro. Used it on a few occasions, including the current on going Kuala Lumpur fireworks competiotion at Putra Jaya. My favourite is F2 mode and i used it for the fireworks shot. Will post some photos later to share. I love the colour rendition and the unparallel...
