IPA stands for isopropyl alcohol.
You can get this from pharmacy or Sim Lim Tower (PCB board cleaner).
This was how I removed the sticky stuff from my F90x a few years back.
Remove the cover from the back.
Remove the rollers as well.
Soak the back cover in IPA.
Use some plastic scrapper to remove the sticky stuff.
The back will be shiny plastic and you'll lose the icons, as fatique has mentioned.
Keep gears to a minimum as uneven terrain, slopes, heat and humidity will take its toll on you.

Did you mount the flash while the body and/or flash are switched on?
Try switching off both the body and flash before you mount the flash.
See if it still "auto" flash.
AFD lenses offers more accurate flash exposure because distance to subject is relayed to the camera. Nikon flash system is among the best, if not the best, available.
No matter what, you'll still have to produce your receipt when you claim warranty service/repair. Else NSC will not be able to determine whether the purchase date on warranty card is genuine.
You'll need a smaller tank just for fish photography. Else the fishes will be moving all over the place. With a small tank it is easier to clean the glass and have crystal clear water (change just befor photo session).
Let the fish/es adapt to the smaller tank before beginning your session.
