if your gf or wife asked u this ....

Exactly.... so why do the gf/wife ask such crazy questions?

if your gf or wife asked u this ....

That's cos the gf/wife started it first by asking if we love them more or the camera more. The question itself requires a comparison of human to object.

if your gf or wife asked u this ....

    3. And it'll live in harmony with the new better camera in the same box :D

Alternatively, you can find a gf who has more gears than you, then you can kop her gears to use ;p

    Need Help!

As for me, the feel of the camera in my hands is the most important. So go out to the shops, try out the D80 and see if you like it. I mean afterall, you are going to be taking photos wtih that camera, so get one that feels really good in your hands. ;)

10 degrees, what happens to the lens

Yep, I had the same problem when I was in japan years back during late winter. My shutter froze for the very first picture I tried to take. So I brought my SLR indoors to warm it up :D after that, it works fine for the rest of the trip. :)

    Help: Canon/Nikon experts help needed!

Easy, I was't trying to say nikon is better than canon or anything. I just merely pointed out the main difference that is making lenses cost more b'cos of the ability to maintain a fixed aperture over a zoom range. Relax.

You cant compare these 2 lenses. The nikon is a fixed aperture while the canon is not.:nono:

Where is the best place to buy dry cabinent? Any Rec?

That makes it 2 bodies and 3 lenses now + 3 more lenses and a flash in the next 5 years. I would suggest you go for the 60L cos a 30L is obviously going to be REALLY REALLY tight ;p

I agree with zoossh that <60L is more than enough for you now and the next 5 years. I am using a 60L, 3 shelves, currently holding 2 SLR bodies, 4 lenses, some filters and 2 other compact cameras. There is still room for at least another 3 lenses or even more, depending on how tight you like...
