Oh OK got it. It's on the super control panel. I was looking for it under "menu" lol. I set the sharpness to -1, but there's only a slight difference. Olympus really does set the sharpening aggressively. Pics are incredibly sharp. Too sharp lol.

Is this normal? ISO 200. Shot with flash at 1/60. 20mm f3.5. Lumix 20mm f1.7 lens. 100% crop

How do you dial down the sharpening in this camera? I don't see sharpening option on the menu (but I just bought this camera today). Jpeg images look a little over sharpened for my liking. It introduces something like luminance noise at soft areas, even at iso 200. I'm using this camera with...

    A User's Experience - The OLYMPUS OM-D

Amazing review. I just got my OM-D E-M5 with 12-50 kit lens today. I love this camera and lens, and the combination of the camera and my Lumix 20mm f1.7 is awesomeeeee. I'm yet to see the banding issue, but I just got the camera today, and I haven't tried many high ISO shots yet. Anyway, I...

[ Skills Discussion ] which lens for 4/3 are easy to take night shot with portrait ??

Choose fluorescent for the white balance to give you the bluish effect, then put on the external flash and slap an orange gel on it ;p

[ Skills Discussion ] which lens for 4/3 are easy to take night shot with portrait ??

You want to capture the background at night? That's gotta be very hard even at ISO 1600. Let's say you choose f5.6 for your aperture. Even if you're using tripod, what makes you be so sure that your subject won't move? You need to use flash to freeze your subject, but you don't like the built-in...

[ Tech Support ] - Is your panny 20mm F1.7 noisy when focusing?

There is noise when focusing, but not noisy enough to be distracting imo. Great little lens. Very bright.

    Canon 60D: Homerun or Disappointment?

The G9 was one of the most expensive small-sensor digital cameras on the market when it was launched. It is a great little camera. I had a G6 ;p and that was the camera that made me decide to upgrade to DSLR.

Hong Kong Camera Gears Shopping Guide

Whenever I tried to bargain, the guy would just answer, "NO!" as if he wasn't interested in selling if the price is lower even by a little bit :what:

Hong Kong Camera Gears Shopping Guide

If I'm not mistaken, Tokina 11-16 is out of stock everywhere in HK. At least that was the case when I went there last May. The guy at Tin Cheung told me the 11-16 is out of stock nationwide. I ended up getting my tokina 11-16 in Jakarta for Rp. 5.65 million (S$840). I doubt you can get the lens...

    Tokina 11-16mm f/2.8

Those shots were 100% crops. Can't really use MF with this lens. Just too wide :bsmilie: Maybe KT1031 is right. Since the TTL wasn't working properly when I was shooting at f2.8 and washed out the detail. I guess my lens is ok and ready to travel with me on my vacation tomorrow! :bsmilie:

    Tokina 11-16mm f/2.8

I just took these shots. All are ISO 100, at 16mm, taken with a tripod. Taken with 40D. Aperture priority mode. I hope the size is alright. These were taken without flash These were taken with flash (580EXII) Without flash, the sharpness was ok even wide open. With flash, as you can see...

    Your Favourite Canon PRIME

135L on 350D? Isn't that like really tight? It could be challenging, especially under dim lighting condition. I'm shooting on crop body too, and my favorite is my 85mm f1.8. It's like having a 135mm on FF :bsmilie: That lens is extremely sharp. Well, my other primes are 50mm f1.8 and EF-S...
