Thanks for your field report. I have read too much about the good things about the RX1, it is good to read about the cons. I am now in Japan, the RX1 on sale here are Japanese models, camera menu only in Japanese and it cannot be changed to English. Its cheaper here at around JPY233K.

Anyone use 19mm f2.8 Sigma on the NEX-7? Any problem of purple fringing or chromatic abberation?
