What are the things that you wish to photograph but do not have the chance to do so yet ? Be it a person , a place , wildlife or even out of this world. I believed most, like me are into places hence the thread is in Travel. I'll start off with mine first and ..... 1. WildLife in Africa...

To Hokkaido will be with tour group as I got elder's with me. Tokyo trip shall be F &E since I travel there before. ( to say hello to snow monkeys :D ) Did you "visit" any migrating cranes over there ? Normally crane watching is at the Akan Crane Centre but my itinerary list only...

You are currently using a crop. A FF would be the logical choice as a second cam ... at least to me. Use the FF as main and 500D as a backup. If you are really not sure, borrow or rent a FF and try it out. You should then able to know the answer.

I once paid $130++ to clean a fungus "infection", not worth it. Get a Dry cabi and save all the trouble and hassle.

I am sure you have alot of fun. ;) I travel to West CoAST few months back and felt like going again, especially to The Grand Canyon. Did you visit univgersal on a weekend or weekday ? I was there on a saturday and man, it was crowded.
