Thank you for all the kind advise and shall try it out for the FP mode. By the way, I thought the maximum flash syn for EM1 is 1/320 sec but when the camera set to A and flash set to A TTL, why the flash fails to trigger if the shutter speed shows higher than 1/60 Sec but less than 1/320 Sec?

To shoot in flash FP mode, what are the settings on the EM1? Tried to set A on the camera but the flash will not trigger if the shutter speed is above 1/30sec. Thanks in advance

First curtain and how the anti shake affect the shutter lag (on)?

It is neither camera focusing or flash charging issue.

When press the shutter release, there is a slight delay before it clicks.

Is it normal for the shutter lag when using the EM1 with the flash that comes with the body or FL50R in the Aperature priority mode ? Speed is about 1/40 sec. Is there any setting which i must take note ? I don't have the issue with my E3. Thanks in advance.

Especially when you have baby, imagine with their milk bottles, milk powder, pram, diapers, etc...do you still have the mood to bring along your BIG, HEAVY impressive DSLR with couple of lenses?...I been through and you rather shoot with your mobile phone...haha...
