Sorry for a noob question. How can a lense be considered as a macro? a focusing distance of less then 30mm?? or something like that? I ask cos 28mm Macro and a 105 macro can have great difference since the focusing distance can be similar.

err..... too dry body might crack?? Dun think your aircon is that power. Anyway, if you using seal tight bag, the humidity will be seal in too. It sealed the environmental humidity. Unless you seal it in a aircon, humidity controlled environment, if not no need. A dry box should be enough.

If you are taking photography for fun, i think experimenting is the fun part. If you want to accelerate, maybe on-line course would help. Tution? I don't need to pass and score for exam in photography so mom won't scold me hor....haha

If you have a DSLR on hand, I would recommand you gettign a FM2, to try out how a fully manual camera works. Maybe by the time your DSLR is outdated and no longer working, your FM2 still shoots perfect picture (maybe shutter at 1/4000 is out of speed and sync but who use that in manual anyway.)...
