Nice shots all round. Gives one a true reflection of the speed. Aerobar used only in Triathalons or time trials only, its too dangerous to take your hands off the drops and brake hoods in a closed race like that in NTU. ;)

Its a great camera for macro as the others have said....I use it every day for macro shots. Only thing is that if you use it for sports or quick moving subjects, chances are that you will miss the shot. The flash is not great and of you do lots of flash photography, you should get the bracket...

Darren thanks for the reply. Would it mean that with the multiplier effect of 1.5x, if I got a 60mm it would be a 90mm with a consequent increased working distance as well? A 105mm would be too much with it multiplied to 155mm or thereabouts? Would it be better with a 60mm then? Thanks

Thanks for your replies, Which lens would you guys recommend if it was for the D100 and $ was less of a consideration? Are there any other 3rd party lenses that match or surpass the quality of Nikkors as well? The other lens that looks good is the 24-120G. Any opinions? Cheers TC
