    Beaware!beaware!beaware!beaware!

I'm not saying these are normal prices, and by the way, you only mentioned the iPhone above, and I am not familiar with the different versions nor the pricing. I'm just raising a possibility here. Anyway, I found his posting on another forum, and the prices are indeed too low, so I'll agree...

    Beaware!beaware!beaware!beaware!

I don't see any conclusive evidence that Yetty is a scammer. What are the prices? Are they too good to be true? I can't check that now because the thread has been deleted. He might just be a spammer, not a scammer.

HELP!!! i accidently formated my CF card

The article you linked to refers to the difference between a regular format and a quick format during installation of Windows XP. Maybe there is no universally agreed definition of a full format, e.g. also on the Microsoft website...

HELP!!! i accidently formated my CF card

Although I don't have evidence to support this, I believe hard disk failure is correlated (how strongly, i don't know). So with regards to hard disk failure, and not human errors, controller card failure, power surge, and other factors etc, is it possible that doing backups have marginal...

I don't use online backup services, but you could always encrypt your data for confidentiality.

HELP!!! i accidently formated my CF card

If you overwrite the sector containing the file data, software recovery will be impossible. Yes, you might still be able to recover it, but only using physical techniques such as magnetic force microscopy. Not that I'm aware of anyone providing such a service.

HELP!!! i accidently formated my CF card

Full format zeroes every sector on the partition and recreates the filesystem, so software data recovery is no longer possible.

    Canon Museum Etching paper

I have seen it at Funan before, at least for the A4 size, but that was a while ago. Not sure about the price though. You could probably try challenger.

Vignetting with 16-35 II + filters

It seems that not many people uses this combination of filters on a 16-35. So what brand/type of filters do you use on this particular lens to avoid vignetting? I am interested to use a polarizer in combination with 1 or 2 NDs.

Vignetting with 16-35 II + filters

Has anyone tried stacking a B+W screw-in cir polarizer with 1 or 2 lee filters using the Lee wide angle adapter ring? Will there be problems with mechanical vignetting at 16mm? Samples will be helpful.

    Newbie Shot Of Moon

Mirror lockup is used to prevent vibrations caused by the mirror when it flips up to expose the sensor. I'm not sure how that is done on a A300, you might want to check your camera manual for that. See http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mirror_lock-up for more details. Another thing I forgot to...

    Newbie Shot Of Moon

I suppose there could be a lot of causes for the blur: 1. Lens sharpness 2. Camera shake (use mirror lockup?) 3. Atmospheric turbulence You could also try to stack several images together to get better detail.

    Lens

A crop sensor is used to refer to a sensor that is smaller than 35mm film (24 x 36mm). The field/angle of view (FOV) depends on both the focal length of the lens and the size of your sensor. If you have a smaller sensor, the FOV will be smaller. If you have a 40D, the FOV you get on your...

    Advice for buying stuff online?

I usually get my photographic needs from local shops. I just came across the online store by red dot photo. However, information on the website is scarce, and from what i gather, they probably don't have a physical retail store. Has anyone here dealt with red dot photo before? Have they been...
