Indeed, the 12-50's macro isnt too shabby. The nice thing is the DOF is quite usable as well. Though not at the same level of magnification (& image quality) as a dedicated macro lens, the 12-50 with DTC turned on produces some acceptable results IMO.

Be careful with those 'free' copies, sometimes they can be riddled with viruses and trojans. Might not be worth the risk.
