Never had any major issue with my 7D2 (*touch wood*), although the battery life seems weak at first but the more I used it, the battery life magically seems to last more shots now lol. Updated to the new firmware but no time to bring it out to see the differences.

Nice! Yeah 7D2 is good for portraits too, so far I really enjoy shooting portraits with it. People who think that 7D2 is only good for sports and wildlife, well I think they are missing out what else it can do.

For One Shot, the AF lights up red when focus is in place but you can still see the AF point/AF area in black in the viewfinder. For AI servo, nothing will light up in red, just the AF point in black.

Yea right now can only use digital photo pro to open up the raw files and convert them to be able to open in lightroom and photoshop. Hope Adobe will come up with the support update soon.

Hope that HWZ's source is accurate that it will be out in early November
