    My temperamental EPL1

what are you aiming at when you take photos in day light? if you are aiming at the sky, there's nothing to lock on to auto focus also, if it is too bright, the glare might be preventing the camera from doing contrast focusing

Photoshop Ques: Is there anyway to adjust contrast/brightness of individual colours?

I know the Portraiture plug-in allows you to tweak contrast/brightness of skin tone colours, but it doesn't allow tweaking of other ranges of colours (e.g. a range of sky colours that are mostly blue). is there any plug-in that will allow you to do this? Here's a pic of portraiture plug-in...

    E-PL1 or Nex 3

honestly if you care about prints, then either camera would produce pictures that are of good quality straight out of the camera for printing. i think a lot more can be done in photoshop (adjusting colours, tones, midtones, highlights, shadows, brightness/contrast, sharpness, etc) as long as...

    I just got my E-P1!

i think for the e-pl1 the super control panel is good enough, no need for the wheels (after adjusting settings using the wheel, have to look at the screen for confirmation anyway. why not just look at the screen and change on the fly?) for example if i want to shoot in manual mode: -rotate the...

    Sony NEX-5 vs: Panasonic G2, Olympus E-P1, Samsung NX10, Canon T1i, and Nikon D500

ran out of space, last camera is nikon d5000! New review + comparison here: http://www.imaging-resource.com/PRODS/NEX5/NEX5A.HTM I think the E-P1 fares pretty well against the NEX-5.

    Pen E-PL1 + (MMF-1 & 4/3 Lens) or with the new m43 lens?

thanks for your reply! I think the dilemma for me is that getting a dual lens kit would probably cost close to a single lens kit + the MMF-1 adaptor. are there any advantages of using the 14-54mm 4/3 lens to record video, over the 14-42mm m43 lens?

    Pen E-PL1 + (MMF-1 & 4/3 Lens) or with the new m43 lens?

do you mean that you take most of your shots with the 17mm lens? i'm planning to use the camera on holiday to take landscapes, the 17mm would be fine for wide-angle, but do you think i would need the 14-42mm zoom?

    Pen E-PL1 + (MMF-1 & 4/3 Lens) or with the new m43 lens?

I'm planning to get a new pen with and hope some of you can help me. I already have an e410 with dual kit lens Zuiko 14-42mm and Zuiko 14-44mm. So the story is that i'm planning to get an e-pl1 with pancake lens. Should i just get an MMF-1 and use the 4/3 kit lens, or get the new M.Zuiko...
