Anyone used FZ-20 to take wedding photo before ??

Hi k3nn3th03, I used my FZ-20 as a wedding camera a couple of times already - twice for two of my good friends' ROM and the other one was during my own banquet wedding (from morning to night). One of my friend's ROM is at ROM while the other was during the evening at Raffles hotel...

Would you trade in your old FZ's for FZ30?

Hi there everyone, I agree on codling on not much of an incentive in upgrading at this point. FZ-30 looks like a great camera and I wanted to lay my hands on one too at first. But on hindsight, maybe it's better to make full use of our current FZ-10/20s. Time to rekindle that old flame of...

Need help - advice on touring with FZ-20

Thanks tchuanye, that's very sounds advice. Yeah, it's gonna be a tour so there would be others around. But somehow, after playing with all the settings on the FZ-20, i'd rather be the one controlling everything... sigh becoming like a control freak. That's why i wanted to bring a light tripod...

Need help - advice on touring with FZ-20

Hello everyone, I'll be making a honeymoon tour this coming september for a period of 2 weeks. I'm planning to bring along my FZ-20 and a SLIK sprint mini-GM tripod and a backpack but the FZ-20 will have its own camera bag swung around the shoulders. The thing is, this is our first time...

    From Fort Canning +[pic]

Hi eow! Thanks for that tip! Yeah you're right on the flash and distance thing. That's why i used ISO200 indoors coz for ISO100, it's like walking on a tight-rope for the distance and white-washing the photos. Oh and btw, the 2 and 3rd pics were added with Diffuse glow in PSE and a tad too...

    From Fort Canning +[pic]

Hi nat, Thanks for the comments! I agree on the ISO100 setting. Guess I was lazy to change the settings after coming out from ROM. :) As for the overexposure... that was intentional! hahaha! It looked charming to me! ;p

    From Fort Canning +[pic]

Hi guys, Here's my take on Fort Canning. Do throw me some critiques please!! All taken with FZ20 at ISO200. Hence a little grainy. My view of Fort Canning: A blissful romance: The luncheon: Except for the last one where the shaded portion of my copyright has blocked part...

    FZ20 vs S5500 and S7000

Hello! I own a FZ-20 while one of my colleagues have the S5500. We took them out for a test comparison in a park around my office and there were a few conclusions: 1. The heavy advantage of the FZ-20 is the long zoom plus stabilizer. The stabilizer really comes in handy. 2. Noise...

Kota Kinabalu - Photo shooting trip in May

Hi Jim Davis! Glad to be of service. As for me, I'm rather low on annual leaves this year. I just came back from KK for my wedding banquet there and this coming weekend is the one in Singapore... shiongz man! Remember to bring back more photos at the peak. The view is superb...

Kota Kinabalu - Photo shooting trip in May

Hi guys, Hope I can help! My wife is from Kota Kinabalu and I went there with a group of friends last November but have not gotten the Panny yet. :( Some tips: 1. Mid-year bookings are usually very full. 2. Year-end bookings are also full but more challenging coz of the monsoon period...

    Panny's colours not 'canon'-like?

Thanks so much for your comments guys! Sorry for the late response... i'm in the midst of preparing for my wedding dinner... finishing the video montage and getting the guest list in order. :) I would really like to post a comparison shot between canon and pana but I would need to borrow...

    Lumix? Gd or not?

Hi anirtac! I believe Josho has answered your questions but if I may, I'd just like to add a bit more. Your friend was right, lumix is a wonderful equipment from Panasonic (dun just think of Hi-fi sets ;p). Other than its great features, the other thing you should seriously consider would...
