i m also torn between this 17-55 or 15-85.... Currently using 50d. like to take candid shots.... mostly indoors i m considering the options of getting the 15-85 n get a flash or just the 17-55 for my use.... can anyone advise????

Sorry guys, i forget to state the budget. looking at something cheap and not bad. Thks for all the input guys. If got the chance to get a good bokeh L lens will definitely get one of these 50mm f/1.2L, 85mm f/1.2L, 135mm f/2L
