Yes, this cam takes very decent pictures up to ISO 800. ISO 1600 is still usable with some cleanup. Comparable to some entry level DSLR. Size and Weight was my reason buying it.

Got mine few days ago. Upgraded from previous Lumix FZ5.

It is stated in the Manual pg.111 Noise caused by internal mechanical movement when it is shaken. Not a malfunction. Cheers !

Hi , Does the slave unit have selection for Mode 1 and Mode 2 firing. Some Digicam can sync only on the 2nd flash firing. Thanks.
