    Recommendation for Close Up Lens

Hi Sky, thanks for confirming my thoughts! Finally an advantage for my budget DSLR with cropped sensor! Indeed.. Many of the lens review with slight "Viginetting" may not be observed in a cropped sensor, so less good lens can be used without the disadvantage I guess... But the red trim around...

    Recommendation for Close Up Lens

Looks like I'm not the only one feeling that! Its exactly what I'm going through with the macro lens.. Just curious, does having a cropped lens like the 750D affect the performance of the L lens in macro mode? I suppose the subject would be larger, but isn't it better in this case?

    Recommendation for Close Up Lens

Just got my hands on the 100mm f2.8L IS, and wow... sharp and nice colours from it... I'm not quite used to the lens yet... so its a tad difficult to use.. Movements at macro levels are exaggerated, and the view is 1:1, so I have to physically move inwards/outwards before using the AF/MF...

    Recommendation for Close Up Lens

Hi Sky, thanks for the pointer! Can I use a normal 18-135mm lens for the larger flower in this case? I'm thinking the corners will be rounded, as compared to the macro lens. I'm just amazed by the details the macro lens can bring out in small objects and animals... I'm now looking at all these...

    Recommendation for Close Up Lens

Wow... amazing shot with this one. https://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/u/53763341/Images/Facebook/IMG_2331.png How close were you to the subject when you took it? Do you have to crop away much of the photo in your posted shot? Being a beginner, I was thinking on biting the bullet on a good...

    Recommendation for Close Up Lens

Can I check this raynox lens is actually a converter lens for normal 50mm lens into a macro lens? What is the main difference between a raynox and the standard macro lens, other that prices of 8-10x for 100mm/f2.8 macro usm lens like below http://www.lazada.sg/catalog/?q=canon+macro+lens...

    Recommendation for Close Up Lens

Yep! I tried at full zoom to photograph the subject, ie. an ant, and the ant is only a speck in the photo, but if I use digital zoom(ie. enlargement) the bands and features on the ant that is not visible to naked eye is visible. However, to use the picture, I will have to crop away 80% of the...

    Recommendation for Close Up Lens

Hi Guys, just bought my very first DSLR... and its a 750D entry model.. It came with a 18-135mm/f3.5-5.6 IS STM lens... Just realized it can't focus on close up flora and fauna shots... Are there any suitable lens for recommendation? I've heard some macro lenses can even be so sharp as to...
