does anyone have any experince using K-x in cold country? i am thinking bringing my k-x with tamron 16-50mm and a tamron 70-300mm marco? Can anyone give some advice? i'm not planning to buy a new camera.:D

my dry cabinet had been with mi for more then 4 years i never off the switch unless i wanted to move it to another place. Then it was last Sat my sister came to my house and off the switch(cos she think that it was a waste of electircity), then next day i on the switch back and leave it around...

Thanks all for your advise I would decided on the 17-50mm, as supersimon said its easier to corp using 50mm to 75 than to stitch 28 to 17. And as Felix enlighten mi, for portrait I still have my 35 f2.4 and 50mm f1.7 to rely on. Thanks Anyway additional question, can I get the k-3 split...

But for landscaping I still have my kit lens 18-55. I won't mind changing lens for it, and I do prefer doing more portrait for my wife. And is 28-75 better for portrait or the 17-50? And I'm using kx which have a 1.5x crop

I'm having trouble in choosing these SD card. The extreme is faster than the ultra but it's also almost cost twice. So I do not know which to buy, anyway I'm planning to buy a 8gb rather than a 16 or 32gb. And could you guys help to tell me the price or both the SD cards. Thanks

I am thinking whether if I should update my kx firmware, for me there isn't any problem with my current firmware. At the same time I'm also scare that the new firmware have some problem. So should I update my firmware?
