getting a uwa is not going to help you. a UWA though gives u more 'coverage' but can't you just step back? unless you don't have the space. furthermore if you just use the pop up flash won't it be too harsh on the subjects?

hai so what if I am not alone. there is still no solution. but some guys out there have their problem solved when they unmount and mount back the lens, some had to make a trip to NSC and that is what I am trying to avoid unless I know what is the problem.

I was kinda of worried that it might be lens as it is out of warranty. But what troubles me is the triangle sign beside the 'F' even when there is no lens being mounted
on the 70-300 while mounting the F-stop show all the various values till the lens is fully mounted, but once mounted the 70-300 seems to be working normally.

tried cleaning the contacts on both the body and lens with tissue, still no use. But have not tried alcohol yet. But why the werid issue of showing F0 even when there is no lens mounted? should that be the case? I suspect that there could be some setting to put it in some custom lens setting?
