You are right, the photographer does contribute some distractings. Look like many angle shots have captured ? All photos are taken by you alone ?

Why do you care about the sensor type ? You should be looking into the individual DSLR review.

What bag are u using for dslr users?

Reporter 400 should meet your requirement if you are shooting for event. However to add another heavy lens like 70-200, I would suggest to go for backpack.

    Wedding... beautiful!

some shots are overexposed (glown loose detail) and background is dark which lost the ambient detail ... overall is nice and need more improvement on the composition ..

Should get the AFS 70-200 VR or.....

no reason given ? why not sell all the lens and get 17-55mm f2.8 instead.

If you are going for tour trip, suggest not to use external flash for candid street shots except your friends and your own portrait shots.

    What should I bring?

a flash is useful if you are shooting : - your friends and yourself against a nice scenery or indoor - indoor event maybe you cut down the macro lens and bring a ext tube instead to lighten your load. Bring a lighter tripod too ...

    E-300 and Sigma 55-200 @ the Zoo...

Nice shots esp. 2nd shot, good composition due to the leaf background but object is slightly overexposed at the bright side. Try to compensate -1/3 exposure and fill-in flash to make the shot look better.
