If by kit lens you mean Canon 18-55 STM IS (I assume that's the current Canon APSC kit lens), yeah both MTFs are great IMO.

Can post a pic of your screen? Do those red stripes also appear during startup BIOS sequence? Or only if you open photoshop? Did this happen before? Any changes to graphic driver etc recently? Did re-installing or reset photoshop settings help?

I believe the theme was not really a glamour one. Anyway, just now I googled "low angle fashion photography". The resulting images look good. But who knows, my standard is pretty low :) My 2c but I like the unique angle & composition.

Another good wide angle lens is Tokina 11-16 f/2.8 Mark 2. Agree, not only wide angle lens, but a good tripod is highly recommended. Canon 100D + crop wide angle lens combo are quite lightweight, so you get away with a smaller tripod - easier to carry around. You might also want to get some...

IMO it depends on what you come from & your expectations. If you're upgrading from a pocket, phone cam, xxxD or xxxxD series, the xxD series are quite "wow". Well even from 50D, I guess 80D is quite an improvement. If you previously use a system where you had limited lens options, moving to...

..and don't forget to discuss & manage client's expectation from the very beginning.

IMHO, you can clean first and sell, or right away sell it, as long as you clearly state the condition of the lens. How much you are willing to sell it is up to you.
