I am not expert and I will just comment based on my humble opinion... 1. The face is a bit dark, its better if the eyes is more visible. Another is the bow stick (correct me if im wrong) that it looks distracting, i think it overpowers the subject.

I shoot minimum of 3 exposures when doing an HDR. You might want to check how to use bracketing in your D7000. Spidey89 is correct, for me I always do Post Processing for the HDR as there is different moods you can choose.

Both are good camera's. Just buy one and never look back, look at them both, choose what your heart and mind loves... Then start shooting and start sharing your photos =) lastly, love your camera.. i mean take good care of it. cheers!
