    Poll: D90 with 18-105mm or D90 with Tamron 17-55mm

I started out with the D90 + kit 18-105. It kept me happy, but only for a short while. Now I'm using the Tamron 17-50 and have left the 18-105 in the corner of my cabinet. D90 performs very well up to ISO1600, combined with Tamron's f2.8, fantastic for almost all low light situations. of...

Picture of your D90 with Kit lens 18 to 105mm

Yes, plenty of dodgy shops at Sim Lim. But I suppose AP @ Sim Lim should be alright? I bought my D90 + kit 18 - 105 there last year. My Box is has black front, gold sides. Personally, I'd prefer to buy from an authorised Nikon dealer. Having big Nikon neon lights at the shop front doesn't...

Should I buy Tamron 17-50 in HK?

I've been to shops quoting the same price without int'l warranty. I have the feeling that the shops are supplied with fewer int'l warranty cards than the lenses they have in stock, and will only distribute the int'l cards only when specifically requested for.

Should I buy Tamron 17-50 in HK?

Hi, I'm in Hongkong now. Interested in getting a Tamron 17-50 f2.8. Getting quotes of HKD 2800 (about SGD 550). Quite a good price because I gather it goes for SGD 650+ in S'pore. Problem is the Tamron will only come with HK warranty. No int'l warranty. My question is: should I just go ahead...

What is the best camera phone right now?

Really depends on the quality of pictures you will accept with a phone camera. Personally, I will only buy after seeing and liking real-life samples of pictures taken by real people. So far, the Nokia N81/82 produces decent photo quality and I'm thinking of getting one. Check out this link...
