Hi all
Planning for tokyo next month. Just to check if the energy level at Tokyo is normalized? Shibuya without all that neon lights are not fun to begin with.
If you are looking at FPS, I suggest you understand the processing speed of the camera, the difference between RAW and Jpeg and the quality of your SD card. DSLR tend to lock up after a few shots using high quality RAW + JPEG and can shoot continuously much more shot on low quality JPEG. Class...
You can try Nanjing. It's only a few hours ride on the high speed train and it is a place rich with culture and history. If you are interested in WWII history definitely a place to go with the Nanjing Massacre Musuem. FOC too. Hangzhou is beautiful with lots of interest ard the west lake. Must...
The other issue may be the insecurity factor. Once u start shooting, u will notice the Dslr ard u and u will be asking if ur camera is good enough or lens big enough. Friends and forum will try to persuade which one better. Like if got a 600d, will be asking why not 60d or 7d or I Shld have...
Already had a few encounters when my primary battery died on me for overseas shoots. Conserving bat these days turning off the LCD, no delete of files until reach laptop etc.

Bought DSLR because I used to be a SLR user. Did not switch to DSLR at the revolution because DSLR bodies are so EX than. Reverted to PnS $100 Fuji Camera until this year, I trade in my old body and got a Canon 600D. I have taken beautiful pictures with PnS before and it is the composition and...

I am going through some of the "Gears to Bring Overseas" and notice that a lot of people carry their heavy tripod around. How do you carry your tripod around when overseas? I am trouble lugging my heavy tripod around (1.2kg) and trying to find a more comfortable way to carry it around the world...
Looks like I have a lot of options here:
1) Ignore the logo
2) Cover the logo with something
3) Sell it for $10
4) Use it as camera insert in a normal bag
Looks like I have just gotten some new ideas for the bag!
I always have problems disposing the freebie camera bags from the manufacturer. As I travel a lot, I dun like to carry bags that screams DSLR so my freebie canon bag is taking up space in my cupboard. I doubt anybody wants to buy it at the BnS corner. What do you do with your freebie bags...
