Hi people! i wonder if it's much cheaper to buy lenses from overseas? what are the things to look out for? Canon lenses have international warranty so that shouldn't pose much of a problem right? Anyone bought from Thailand or Taiwan or China before? :)

hi guys! i need to waterproof my 400D for shooting at the beach area and maybe during snorkelling. no need for it to be dive worthy (i know that would cost a bomb). any recommendations on the type of casing i should consider? thanks in advance! ;)

tunster, love your shots! ;) my current situation: i own a sigma 18-55mm f2.8 with my 400D. no flash, no tripod, no battery grip. that's why i'm looking into getting myself a decent flashlight, good tripod and a good lens with big aperture. so going by the F-stop values, f1.4 lets in 4 times...
