prices at yodobashi, bic cam, etc are definately not the cheapest even with tax rebate or member points card. Check the price on Kakaku.com, its usually the best price u can find :D I bought my 500D /w 18-55mm kit lens few weeks ago at 62000yen ($960) ;) there was also a cash back campaign...
