I use the 10, and I love it. The focusing is pretty decent, focus assist is the more discreet red light instead of the bright flash, and can change the focus button (as opposed to it being on the shutter button). Negative things is that no ttl (i think), and metering can be fooled in more...

thanks for the link burblock, but i need specifically need a DSLR with fast frame rate. I've already got canon lenses; for Nikon was looking at a 50mm or 85mm prime or a decent zoom around that range.
