check the output socket... 120v and 230v different de... To be precise, Einstein accepts variable voltage as input... range from 95V to 265V. Any supply falls within this range, Einstein is able to work properly... Likewise for VB mini, the inputs can be varies. There are 2 models of VB Mini...

Haven't tried the VB yet, as i have yet to receive them. While waiting for the PCB SB to arrive, i've used my Einstein (without PCB speedring), with mod version mounting to mount the Jinbei softboxes. Not an issue at all. Just to share that the AB mounting is different from Bowen / Elinchrome...

It is right to match the VB to AB, if we have one as existing lighting system. But i do not have any of the AB in hand. Currently, Einstein is very flexible to accommodate Voltage ranging from 95V to 265V. It doesn't matter which version of VB Mini we are getting.... should work... will update...

Agree. But shipping cost from US is much more expensive as compare to shipping from Au to SG. It may ended up no much diff. But think if place the order directly from Au, the goods should reach you earlier then US. Thanks.

If you like to have more room for flexibility, 400w to 600w would be good. bigger or strip SB can be used to light up the full body. For light meter, can try out sekonic brand, think there are few models available in the market from basic set L-308S, L-358xx & L-758xx (pro series). for one...
