Gear is a very basic gear. D5100 with kit lens. Might bring a tripod along. Any places of interest I shouldnt miss? And I know some places will be nicer at night so if you got any inside information on which place, it'd be good:bsmilie:

I had the same dilemma a week ago. The Canon is better for video recording and the Nikon is better for image quality from what I've read. Went the Nikon route and haven't looked back.
Thanks for all the replies! Yes, with the higher ISO setting, shutter speed is alot quick producing clear images. One more question, for landscape shots, with high f-stop values, images turn out to be dark. Higher ISO values will fix this I presume?

I think I got chopped. Paid 35 for Rollei UV filter. It was 2x more than Hoya. Shoulda have done my research but the filter seems work alright. No degrading in IQ to my untrained eyes.
