Mine has a tight zoom problem but I still using it regularly. Was never dropped or knocked. Higher cost of repair is apparently because design is such that svc ctr often switch whole barrel assembly instead of fixing particular part? Perhaps Fatique can share or comment? Thx

Hi, been googling but answers not conclusive.. Some say on D800 with cropped mode, the outside area is grayed out instead of just a border. How about on D750? Mine is just a border. Some saying to turn off AF Point Illumination for this to work but mine doesnt. Thx
