Let say if i set to manual mode, which settings will you start on when adjusting to the situation? what i mean is.. if its low lighting, do you first check on Aperture/Shutter speed first? or its a simultaneous relationship..

thanks mate, numnum. i am using a 500D with 18-55mm. your explaination clarifies alot. I also realised some times when i shoot.. the F# sometime can go to 3.4 but some times stuck at 5. Is this a normal?

mayhemics, so your usual settings at night is Manual? when you have high shutter speed, low F# and ISO depending on lighting? hmmm... mine is always set to AV mode regardless day or night......probably thats why i cant control what i wanto take... always have problems taking low lighting pictures

Another question that pop up my mind. Do you allow your camera to auto find the ISO or set it according to your experience? i set it to auto because i do not want to go all the way to 3200 max. if camera choose it will choose the lowest ISO enough to take the shot? am i right?

err.. how do you extract the EXIF data? i always change the settings to my pictures.. i always duno how people can remember their settings.. lol

Hi all, just a quick noob question, how often do you all use custom white balance? i mean to set custom white balance every single time the lighting changes its quite troublesome. Will you really be concern over the lighting condition of the picture you took.. as it is hardly noticable for me.

issint it alittle too dark. alot of details are lost... however it did brings out a different feeling

is there any pp skills i can do to make the landscape behind looks more distinct? i think only curve.... not much i can do to make it more stand out, i guess..

I like BW too.. but at times its more challenging to take pictures with colour.. alot mroe things to consider.

think it issnt too bad.. just that the cloud in the middle of the sun like alittle too thick. alittle distracting.. den again.. unavoidable.. ahha

the actual subject is probably the skylines in the evening sun and the people looking at it.. should have waited for the uncle to walk away..
