So I jus increase the aperture jus flash and get a background futher away from the model?

Tried set the meter from -2 to +2 but if it's + the background will be over exposed. At - the face will become black. I not facing the sun the model is under shelter but background is super bright sun light. Is there other way to do bokeh without using f1.8? I need like half the body of the model...

I tried taking bokeh shot in daylight either it is over exposed or the model face is too dark to be seem... try setting up 1/4000 with F1.8 can anyone guide me?
