Last kampong in Singapore - HDR

this could have been a nice shot, if it was just a bit brighter. maybe you should use a slower shutter speed next time.

    Night Life @ Singapore River

hahaha, i like it when someone says be prepared to receive a lot of negative comments. Anyway, i think all the comments have to made. Nothing much to add. Just keep shooting, dont take these comments too much at heart. Maybe at times less is more. Include lesser in the picture to make it...

    Double Pass

i would like to have the feeling of speed in this photo. It is not there. It should feel like the runners are running fast

    SG CBD after Midnight

i have seen this type of shots too often. I think you should take it earlier. This is too dark already. Rather than try to get everything in the photo, why not try to just get lesser things in the frame and make it more interesting.

First post!: Dawn at Singapore's CBD

actually since u r using a tripod, why do u use aperture 5.6? The buildings aint very sharp, Was a windy early morning as well?

    Stream of Song

i don't like the way the bars cast the shadow on the model. It feels a bit distracting and keeps taking away the focus from the girl. I would go in a bit closer to the subject.

    Blossom

i don't like the distracting background, and the overly saturated colours. It does not look natural to me.

    Clarke Quay

are you using a tripod? The skyline seems a bit too dark.

    Right Composition?

Does that butterfly really has one antenna on the head only? Hehehe! by the way, I have the 50mm 1.8lens. I feel it is a very good lens, one of the best for its price. At times, if you dont have the filter or the polariser required, just PS the photo a little bit. It may help cheers!

    Walking bird

if you wanna show the bird is walking the show the feet. If you couldnt get the feet, u should perhaps crop and get a portrait of the bird's head to try n save the photo. If not, shoot portrait and make sure you don't cut any part of the bird for your future shots. Cheers!
