for bottom of the line stuff (ie. d40x vs. xti) i say xti. not because i own it, but when i was looking for a camera the flash on the d40x would not stay down! i went to best buy to try out the cameras! i dont know about the others but i can tell you that from what i saw made me go towards...

thanks!! but this isnt just for school! iam going to use it at events like car shows and expo's, and travelling! school is just one of my applications...you should see how i had my camera in my school bag! at least now ill be ready when a good photo op comes!

the story behind the picture: we were at the a wedding(my sisters), she had it in Las Vegas, it was after the post reception so we were buzzed. we got bored waiting for prime rib at like 2in the morning. well we never tried the slots before and it took alot of convincing to convince my cousin...
