I called Nikon Singapore (Sales Dept) this afternoon - there is no plan to sell V3 here, no reason was given. If you buy overseas, no local warranty will be given. The closest option is to purchase it in Malaysia / JB. Sigh ......

I was looking around for a V2 quote today and one of the shop responded back with the following: Even Nikon Singapore website do not have the V2 model anymore. We are currently waiting if Nikon Singapore will be bringing in the V3 version. Another strategic change?

yeaaah, it is good for a frequent traveler. for ordinary people, we are depending on the local distributors. and if v3 will not be sold here locally, the v2 price will never go down ...... sigh ...... :confused: :dunno:

just realised - the v3 is not in nikon singapore's list http://www.nikon.com.sg/en_SG/products/categories/nikon1.page? does it means that nikon singapore will not sell v3?
