Did you set your camera to slow sync or rear sync? Sorry I am Nikon user so may not be using the correct term. By default, cameras are set at 1/60 for AV, P if you do not set as rear or slow sync.

Will off camera flash help in this situation? Cos I am wondering if it is the same as diving underwater. Using off camera flash will prevent reflection caused by planktons.

I think he wants to show that the location is at a train station. But still, the space to the left of the picture is wasted space as it adds nothing to the picture IMHO.

I feel alright with the harsh lighting if that is the way he wants it to feel. However, I am rather uncomfortable with the shadow on the right eye of the model in the 2nd picture. I will wanna see the eye of the model. That is for me lah. As for over exposed picture wise..... I think it can...
