Hi all, I just got myself a new 500D today with the 18-55mm lens included in the kit, and an additional EFS 50mm f1.8 lens which the guy at the shop recommended.

I'm looking for some good books on beginner photography, so can I ask if anyone has any good recommendations as to which books or authors I should look into? I'm currently looking at The Digital Photography Book by Scott Kelby and Understanding Exposure by Brian Peterson. Any suggestions...
