    agree. Especially when you want to buy an entry-level camera. New models have more features for same or even less price then 1-year second-hand. Don't forget: there is no lifetime warranty for cameras.

    This is a very typical question. When you are asking it, IMO you are not ready for this step. :) Main question: are you ready to invest money in new gear? You will need at least US$300-400 for new bag, lenses, filters etc. to reach approximately same zoom range. Here is a wonderful guide...
