So it doesn't really matter whethere the lens is designed for DX or FX. e.g DX 18-105mm when mount to FX body will get the same focal length but when mounted to DX body it will be multiplied by x1.5. Same goes to FX lens like nikon 70-300mm when mounted to FX body will get same focal lenght but...
