You are not very clear on your set up. I assumed you are using F58 as your flash controller. Since it's a flash controller, it will flash (at low intensity) to communicate with your F42. It's norrmal.

I think so. If you notice on the LA-EA1 there is no screw to then the screw driven lens. They might come out a version 2 later..who knows.

Something i am having waiting since i got the LA-EA1. too bad there was no way to AF with those screw driven ones.
