hi guys i finally bought a 450d with tamron 17-50mm....but how come sometimes my lens keep af several times and i cant take the pic meaning when i press the shutter no pic taken....i try taking the pic of my lcd tv unless one of the af pt is at the border rather than all the af pts is on the lcd...

I have decided to purchase a 50d over 450D(comments on this too) and then I am thinking which is a better walkaround lens...17-55 or 17-85....thnks
