Anyone have experience with Que Audio's mini shotgun microphones?
Seems like a very nice compact setup for home videos, but I've not been able to find many reviews on this particular microphone.
The primary difference between the Rode VideoMic Pro and the VideoMic is size.
The other is that VideoMic Pro has a +20dB level option which the older VideoMic doesn't.
This video covers the differences between the 2 microphones quite well.

The Motion Snapshot feature (The one that takes a short slow motion clip and then a still) only works with AF-S lenses (So no AF-D, AI-S etc.) and only with AF-Single (Basically no manual focus and no auto focus continuous).

AF-D lenses perform just fine for HD video. Full HD video is roughly about 2 megapixels in resolution and AF-D lenses are more than capable of resolving that level of detail.
Personally I don't think it is that much of an upgrade over the D5100.
As a D5000 user the D5200's video mode is what attracts me the most. However, I was hoping they would have given it 1080 60p video rather than 60i. And hopefully we can change aperture during video recording/live view mode...
Audio House at Liang Court and Mustafa Shopping Centre both carry the JVC PX10.
You can also try out the Panasonic FZ200 which can record high-speed videos at 120 fps (NTSC / HD) / 100 fps (PAL / HD) or 240 fps (NTSC / VGA) / 200 fps (PAL / VGA) in MP4 format.
Nice review.
Do you have samples of the "video stills"?
I've read that with the Nikon V1 the photos in video mode only works when the camera is recording at 60i. Is it the same for this camera?
Quite tempted in getting either the V1 or J1, want a camera that is capable of better image...
