I have this EF50mm cheapo lens. I would also like to point out all my lenses are EF lenses. I do not have even USM or IS lenses. But almost satisfy with them. :)

Hi Unless you want to make ROI, I would suggest to follow nightwolfs suggestion. Technology changes are happening very frequently. Save $ and buy best lenses to produce good qualities. regards
