    It's Official - D300, D3 and Lenses etc

It's great for me because I have a Coolpix 950, D70s and D200 (one of the factors I got the it instead of D80), so if they were to use SD instead, then it'll be a bit of a "negative" feature for me. :)

Which shop to buy a Nikon dslr?

Only suggestion for you is to do some research before you go buy. For pricing: http://forums.clubsnap.org/showthread.php?t=151190 Do a search in the Nikon forum and you will be able to find tonnes of info on the D40/D40x. Good luck.

    D40X users!

That's true, but as damkuff said so himself/herself, it all boils down to how much you want to pay, plus he/she mentioned that SB400 will be purchased, so speed may not be an issue vs. versatility.

    D40X users!

For indoor, you will be better off with a wider lens, eg. AFS 18-70mm or AFS 18-55mm. Do note that the D40x does not auto-focus with non-AFS Nikon lenses, so you will need to focus manually if you get an AF 50mm f1.8. Ideally, if you have the moola, AFS 18-200mm VR would be great. You...

Are there warranty on nikon accesories like MC-36?

I don't think so, because I recently bought an ML-3 remote unit and it comes with a yellow international warranty slip. I'm not sure about the MC-36 but I think you should get a warranty though. Which shop did you purchase it from?
