Is your high ISO noise reduction on/off? Those are some great noise control....I mean noise are really visible on darker shade but they are still good...

Great to know that more and more dark knights can be seen...kinda answer the age old question of whether D3 is for sports or not... I think ratio is pretty close

Considering that Nikon is planning on releasing new camera (speculations points to D3H and D3x) in June, they might include new AF-S lenses. Not to mentioned the recent release of the 60mm AF-S Micro f/2.8 :D

I just recently bought this lens and I notice that on AF the focusing ring is rotating when shutter is half-press. It rotates with the AF motor. Is this normal or a possible defect? Hope to hear you advise. Thanks
