Thanks raydio and lone ranger! First shoot yesterday and don't regret switching to dslr. But lots to learn, even on the kit lens alone.

Just got my 650d this evening. My first DSLR as well. Have yet to go snapping away. When I do, hope to learn from the experienced photogs here...
