@DrSpock - I think i am somewhere between stage 0-1 by your definition! But the biggest problem is... that i am going for a holiday trips in mid dec planned with breath taking scenic landscapes. and i want to make sure i am more competent in taking these landscape photos thats why im harburing...

but the warranty is an issue right? cuz bodies only have local warranties. In that case would Malaysia - JB be a better option since its easier to send it back to JB than say in HK. UNLESS HK is significantly cheaper...

i have heard my frens saying some shops in HK and taiwan. Japan also has better prices if you dig hard enough. But im wondering what is the price diff? is it really worth the trip?:think: thx
