    couple of spiders to share...

thanks, i'm lucky to have a few good teachers to guide me. still lots to learn though. Yap, the pixs were all taken at night. it's easier after the spider has settled down to wait for prey or sleep. during the day they can be very skittish

thanks, glad you like it. this happens to be taken on a good day. on a bad day, there'll be almost nothing worth keeping :embrass:

    Tree Top Close-ups

nice catch ! i've been looking a for nice ladybug for a while. still looking. just my two cents worth, i thought some of the shots (e.g lady bug, dark surfer) are a little soft around the eyes and head area? the focus seem to be on the body instead?

    couple of spiders to share...

Haven't shot for too long :) the last one is a bit soft on the eyes, but the colours are nice, so decide to share anyway. C&C welcome ! The same spider, front shot...

Thanks... by omnibounce I'm assuming you are referring to the reflection of the diffuser? Yah, actually i'll rather not have it at all, and have the spider look all natural, instead of having stars in it's eyes :bsmilie:
