nay, i'm no professional. sometimes it's the angle. or when my hands shake, just up the shutter speed. with the flash you can compenstae for the higher shutter speed.

Yap, the pixs were all taken at night. it's easier after the spider has settled down to wait for prey or sleep. during the day they can be very skittish :sweat:

just my two cents worth, i thought some of the shots (e.g lady bug, dark surfer) are a little soft around the eyes and head area? the focus seem to be on the body instead?
Haven't shot for too long :) the last one is a bit soft on the eyes, but the colours are nice, so decide to share anyway. C&C welcome !

Thanks... by omnibounce I'm assuming you are referring to the reflection of the diffuser? Yah, actually i'll rather not have it at all, and have the spider look all natural, instead of having stars in it's eyes :bsmilie:
