The time for filter attached to the lens is longer than the hood mah. When you keep you lens, you might take out the hood but not the filter. ;)

I got mine about more than 6 months ago at Bailey (not sure if spelt correctly) at Funan, for $167.

How come did not have any filter? If got filter, the filter may protect your main lens body from the dent.

The Canon mount is out! Bought from MS Color today @ $688 inclusive GST. A very good lens and valued for money! Bokeh is nice and the lens is sharp too! The only bad thing is find is that the motor is a bit noisy. Noisier than Canon's non-USM lens. And theres a pic where i zoomed in to...
