Both the D600 and 6D have terrible video, rolling shutter and moire is horrible. The 5D MKII is a great option, and if you have no pref for Canon vs Nikon in terms of ergonomics and buttons, then go for the 5D MKII. If you don't care about video then D600 or 6D are fine.

I'm also looking for a storage solution for all my slides and negatives. They are all in strips so I just want to put them in an album. I will head down to Chiif later this week, but can anyone advise any other solutions, i.e. something via Amazon or online?

Yeah I agree about the 500px compression. I've uploaded some film shots to flickr and 500px, and in 500px some of the edges are softened compared to flickr. If you don't want the social aspect of photo sharing then your Dropbox suggestion is a good idea.

Hi there, does anyone know if Triple D and Fotohub etc will enlarge from negatives, or only digital files? The scanned negs always seem low res even at 16 base, so I'm keen to get an enlargement from the negative.
